Atelier Modelling Compound is a water-based impasto paste made from marble dust. It is a heavy-bodied pigmentless paint designed to provide exaggerated body and structure in acrylic paintings. Ideal preparation for canvas or other supports. Use for exaggerated textured surfaces: No need to dilute. Use directly from the container. Use as an economical paint extender: Mixed with Atelier Colours it does not reduce the viscosity of the paint. Appearance: Off-white, thick paste. Dries to a white, matte finish. High marble-dust content.
