Description

Rublev Colours Dry Pigments - Series 3 Phthalo Green is a brilliant, high-chroma bluish green pigment with exceptional tinting strength and professional-grade permanence. Phthalocyanine Green (PG 7 / C.I. 74260) is a synthetic organic pigment made by chlorinating copper phthalocyanine, creating a deep, intense green that is prized for clean mixes, luminous glazing, and strong staining strength.

If you want a green that goes a long way, PG 7 is a studio workhorse. A tiny amount produces powerful colour impact, whether you are formulating your own oil paint, acrylic, watercolour, gouache, inks, or custom mediums. Its transparency and strong chroma make it especially popular for glazing and layering, where it creates depth and jewel-like greens, and it mixes beautifully into teals and turquoises with blues, or vibrant natural greens with yellows.

Phthalo Green is known for outstanding resistance to fading and environmental wear, making it suitable not only for fine art paint making but also for demanding applications like coatings, plastics, and printing inks. It is highly stable in both acidic and alkaline conditions and has excellent solvent and weather resistance, helping finished colour stay vivid over time.
