Ideal for traditional and contemporary applications, Marble Dust Fine Grade creates durable, bright white grounds with excellent surface tooth for egg and casein tempera, distemper, encaustic, oil paint, and watercolors. Marble is a metamorphic rock composed of recrystallized calcite (CaCO₃), denser and harder than limestone due to geological heat and pressure.
